Who should be immunized? This year the CDC recommends that EVERYONE receive the flu shot. In particular, the following populations should receive particular focus:
- Children 6 months-18 years old
- Parents of children with the above ages
- Pregnant women
- Adults older than 50
- Patients with certain chronic medical illnesses (such as diabetes, COPD, heart failure, HIV, etc)
08/14/09 SCITON LASER THERAPY NOW AVAILABLE
We are excited to announce the newest piece of equipment available at Family First Medical Center. We recently acquired a Sciton Laser--a delux platform that offers multiple treatment modalities.
Dr. Smith is anxious to put his training in aesthetic medicine to work. While the laser is used for treatment of multiple dermatologic conditions including rosacea, acne, and actinic keratoses, perhaps the more popluar treatments include phototherapy for age and sun spots; MicroLaser Peels; permanent hair removal; spider vein treatment; and skin tightening.
